We are closed for the lunch hour from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Areas ServicedAs shown on the map, NECO Community Futures Development Corporation services the City of North Bay, north to Tilden Lake, east to Mattawa, south to Novar and west to Port Loring. North Bay is located at the junction of Highway 11 and Highway 17 and is about a four hour drive from Toronto and Ottawa. North Bay is a one hour flight from the Toronto Pearson International Airport. The region has a northern appearance with maple forests in the south and coniferous forests in the north as well as numerous lakes and rivers. The regional economy is based on forest products, mining related industries, tourism, administration and some agriculture. Coverage Map NECO coverage area includes the City of North Bay and smaller incorporated municipalities including: There are also a number of local unorganized communities, some of which have their own local service boards. Demographic OverviewThe City of North Bay has a population of 56,000. The second largest community is Mattawa which has a population of 2,535.
